About Me.

Paige Tubinis is a Boston-based recording and mix engineer, singer/songwriter, and producer- she leads her creative process with a strong mix of extensive technical knowledge and a constant hunt for unique, unorthodox sounds. Through centering empathy in the recording studio, she helps musicians feel understood and the most comfortable they can be in vulnerable spaces.

She first fell in love with music in live settings; seeing Taylor Swift at Gillette Stadium at seven years old began a childhood of guitar, vocal, and piano lessons. After singing in plenty of bands, songwriting, and spending every penny she earned on concerts, she made the completely logical next step- attending college to pursue medicine. It took complete isolation from community building through music during the pandemic to make her realize she needed to combine her love for the technical and STEM with her love for music. She transferred to Berklee College of Music and completed a degree in Music Production and Engineering. Audio engineering, as she guessed, is a perfect blend of her immense problem solving skills and attention to detail, and her deep passion for expression through music.

She is most immersed in pushing the boundaries of the folk and alternative genres. Pulling creative inspiration from the likes of Bon Iver, Phoebe Bridgers, and Radiohead, her mission is to introduce new sounds and arrangements in otherwise traditionally acoustic or "rock band" spaces. All of her engineering and production choices stem from a love for live music and the magic created when an ensemble is playing together as one. This translates into her production work, often with singer/songwriters, by reflecting their uniqueness with specific soundscapes while still placing central focus on lyrics and storytelling. Stemming from frustration from a lack of non-men in recording spaces, she concentrates on creating welcoming and inclusive spaces for all artists to express themselves without inhibition.

She was most recently credited on Reanna Lucia’s debut single  "Unpack It", which she produced, engineered, and mixed. She is currently working on a few artist projects and her own original music in the studio, but is always open to new engineering and production projects.
